Thought i'd have a little break from talking about eating cake and talk about my own cakes, so here is my latest creation! I was very pleased to have little direction and be allowed to come up with my own design for this cake which was inspired by the colours on the cover of the latest Lisa Jewell book I recently read (and loved!). Pink and turquoise are my fave colours and wanted to see how they would look on a cake and I am rather pleased with the result and how the flowers turned out.I am partial to a pretty cake and am looking forward to a couple more orders I have coming up in the following weeks, although my next challenge is a Thomas the Tank Engine!
